I got an email saying my photobucket acct was going to expire so I went in for the first time since MySpace and pulled some pics. This was my 87 #lincoln #towncar that my grandma left me. I built it a 2000 watt sound system and bumped it around for years as a construction worker. It had some expensive problems so I ultimately pulled the sound system and traded it for the postal jeep, which I traded for my Cadillac, but then got the postal jeep back trading it for a Chrysler Concorde that I also got for free.
Harambe is getting to see some real weather. Scroll to see where I’m sleeping tonight and ask me how you can stay here too!!!

I got this Instagram ad again… I swear they try to sell me the stuff from Walmart, Autozone and Grainger and it is never in stock. Also, this Walmart one says it is $123 per ounce and while I am willing to pay a lot, nearly $79,000 is probably too much for 5 gallons of oil.

Last time I moved, I narrow down my magazine collection to about one Milkcrate. Now that I’m moving again I was packing them up and stumbled across this favorite issue. It features the (now famous) “F-bomb” Camaro Belonging to @davidfreiburger Think I will keep this one out to read in my hotel room.
Yesterday I was knocking a beam into place while raising a sagging roof in my new hundred year old house, and I had nailed a piece of oak on it so I wouldn’t be pounding on the pine beam. With one swing of the hammer the oak split and blasted me in the face hard enough that my safety glasses flew off, but not before doing their job. My cheek is swollen and a little scraped up but the safety glasses took 99% of the hit and are the reason I still have my right eye. Always wear your safety gear.
It uses quite a bit more wire but when I wire a house for myself I run a 15 amp circuit for each bedroom and bath, homerun it to an easily accessible junction box for that room, and run individual wires to each outlet. It takes a LOT more time but diagnostics are incredibly easy as well as adding or removing any fixtures down the road.
I stopped this guy to snap a pic of his truck but the real story is the cop car in the background. I had to do a pretty wild turn to get into this gas station with my 40’ trailer and the officer spun a quick u-turn behind me and parked there. I took my time fueling up and checking all my straps and he just sat there watching me. After about 20 minutes I also turned on my flashers and lights to check all the trailer connections. I found a loose connector for the left blinker and when I wriggled under there to fix it he drove off. I didn’t do anything unlawful but it WAS a pretty goofy turn.
The world has lost an incredible person. He was quiet and lived like a hermit on a mountain but he was the smartest man I think I may ever know. I can wire an entire car start to finish with no diagrams without blinking and it’s just easy and makes sense to me but the electrical circuitry that this man designed and built (Few people can do both) Was light years ahead of my understanding. We didn’t even speak the same language. I have a bunch of videos of him explaining every detail of the suburban to me before I picked it up. The intelligence of our life on this planet has just gone down a noticeable percentage. More importantly he was kind and gentle and and welcoming. I’ll miss you Glenn. Prayers for your family.
Look at these big beefy meats! @coopertire discoverer STT pros. I’m really looking forward to trying them out on the ‘74 #jeep #wagoneer and I love that they are still a standard size (33 12.5 R15)
I just have to finish up the back brakes and I’ll see if I can get this beast to drive.

On Sunday I pulled the entire front end off this 1938 ford flathead fire truck to get at the points. Yesterday I found this picture of the same truck in a #history book about my town. Today only one of the 2 sets of points showed up at the parts house. It is a real privilege to tinker on such an important vehicle with the fire men of Mansfield.

Hover mode has failed me! The jack stands sunk into the ground during the heavy rains last night. Luckily I left the jack under the rear pumpkin of “the pumpkin” because I was worried about this very thing.

Anyone able to tell me what this wheel is for? I was finally able to hike out to the northwest quadrant of my property today and see it for the first time. While hiking the fences I found a couple wheels, someone’s shooting range, a grave, a blind made out of an old truck hood, and an old washing machine.
